New Discussion Create/Edit Experience (Instructors only)

What is the new creation experience in Discussions?

The goal is simplify common tasks for first-time or infrequent users, while giving easy access to the advanced features that our experienced power-users love.

D2L recently re-imagined the create/edit workflows in Assignments and Quizzes, and are now unveiling similar changes to Discussions to bring consistency in how activities in Brightspace are created.

What does the new experience look like?

The redesigned create and edit screen for Discussion topics has the same layout as in Assignments and Quizzes, making it familiar and easy to learn.
