Kaltura MediaSpace

Kaltura MediaSpace is an online platform through Minnesota State that allows you to record or upload video or audio files.

Where to find Kaltura MediaSpace

1. From your D2L homepage, go to the Tech Help menu and select MediaSpace Login

 -- OR -- you can also find Kaltura Media Login through a course homepage in the Resources menu: 

2. If prompted, Login with your Star ID@go.minnstate.edu and Password

3. From the Add New menu, select the option of what you would like to do.

"ADD NEW" menu descriptions:

• Media Upload: upload audio or video files to be stored in your MediaSpace library
• Express Capture: record audio or video with your webcam, microphone, and/or screen sharing
• YouTube: link a YouTube video directly into your MediaSpace library
• Kaltura Capture: Download and install software for more recording features such as screen sharing, whiteboard, and editing tools. 

Share media from your "Kaltura Media" library in D2L 

Anywhere you see the Insert Stuff icon in D2L (looks like a play button), select "Kaltura Media" to insert media from your library.
