How to Install Zoom

Zoom will automatically install when you start a meeting. The Zoom Outlook plugin can be installed via Software Center on Normandale Windows computers.

If you are invited to a meeting via an URL link, it will automatically prompt to download the app when you click on the URL link. You do not need to pre-install the app. If you'd like to install Zoom Outlook app or pre-install Zoom, please select the best option below. Which device would you like to install it on?

• Normandale Faculty/Staff Computer:
  • Install Zoom on your Normandale computer from the Software Center
  • Install the Zoom Outlook plugin on your Normandale computer from the Software Center
• Personal Device - Zoom.com
  • Install Zoom on your personal Windows computer
  • Install Zoom on your Android or iOS device
  • Install the Zoom Outlook plugin on your personal Windows or Mac computer

1. Click on the Windows Start button
2. Type "Software Center"
3. Click on the Software Center icon
4. Select Zoom Client Installer
5. Click Install

You can install the Zoom Outlook plugin from Software Center:

1. Click on the Windows Start button
2. Type "Software Center"
3. Click on the Software Center icon
4. Select Zoom Client Installer
5. Click Install
6. Once the installation is complete, please close and re-open Outlook
