How to install Teams

You can install Teams on your work computer, home computer, or 

Normandale-owned Windows Computer

Teams will be automatically deployed to all Normandale windows computers. If you don't have Teams installed, you can install it by

1. If you are using a Windows, Normandale-owned computer, please download Teams from Software Center
   1. Log in using StarID@ minnstate.edu
2. If that doesn't work, you can also install it using the web. See below.

Installing Teams from the Web on your Personal or Work computer

1. Download Microsoft Teams from the Microsoft website
2. Click to run the file you downloaded
3. Teams will be installed. You do not need local admin permissions.
4. Log in using your Microsoft 365 username: 
   1. StarID@go.minnstate.edu (students)
   2. StarID@minnstate.edu (faculty/staff)

Install Teams on your Mobile Device

1. Search for Microsoft Teams in your App Store
2. Click Install
3. Launch the Teams App and login with your Microsoft 365 username:
   1. StarID@go.minnstate.edu (students)
   2. StarID@minnstate.edu (faculty/staff)

How to log into Teams

Sign in with your Microsoft 365 username and password.

1. Username: 
   1. StarID@minnstate.edu (faculty/staff)
   2. StarID@go.minnstate.edu (students)
2. Password: Your StarID Password
