What is VoiceThread?

A VoiceThread is a collaborative, multimedia slide show that holds images, documents, and videos and allows people to navigate slides and leave comments in 5 ways - using voice (with a mic or telephone), text, audio file, or video (via a webcam).

  • Your instructor may assign you VoiceThreads to watch, and you may also be asked to add your own text, video, or audio comments for a grade or participation points.
  • Your instructor may also ask you to create your own VoiceThread as an assigned activity in the course.

  • If your instructor has asked you to view a VoiceThread as a lecture, you can navigate the lecture using the arrows, and by playing the "comments".
