Clear the Microsoft Teams Cache

Clearing the Microsoft Teams cache can solve a lot of Teams issues including any time you're unable to sign in, send messages, answer calls, join meeting, upload files, or open files. It also can solve the problem of missing messages. 

To clear the Teams cache

1. Quit Microsoft Teams
   1. Right-click on the Teams icon in your Taskbar
   2. Click on Quit
      
       
2. Open Windows Explorer
    
3. Copy and paste the link below into the address bar:
   
   %AppData%\Microsoft\Teams\
    
4. Open the Cache folder
5. Delete all the files you see here
   
    
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the following folders. You will find all these folders in the same location as the Cache folder.
   1. blob_storage
   2. databases
   3. GPUCache
   4. IndexedDB
   5. Local Storage
   6. tmp

7. Open Teams
