My Normandale-issued Lenovo laptop won't charge or won't power on

How to do a Lenovo Laptop Battery Reset to hard reset a computer which it won't charge and/or power on.

If your Lenovo laptop is not charging or is not powering on, please follow the steps below:

1. Shut down your laptop (you may need to continually hold down the Power button for 10-15 seconds to power it off if it's hung). Unplug your laptop from the docking station and/or unplug the power charging cord from the laptop.
2. Flip the laptop physically upside down.
3. Locate and Find a small hole on the left side, above one the of the screws (please see image below, of the laptop flipped upside down) 
4. Take a small pin or paper clip and use it to press down into the hole. Once engaged, You will hear a small click.
5. Flip your laptop back up, plug it in and press the power button to turn it on, and it should boot up fine now.
