Connect to WiFi with your StarID (Students, Faculty, Staff)

Connect to Ndale-WiFi

Students and employees should connect their personal devices to Ndale-WiFi. 

1. Go to the internet / WiFi settings on your computer or phone.
    
2. Select Ndale-WiFi from the list of networks.
    
3. Open your browser and go to any website.
    
4. You will be redirected to the Wireless Login page.
   Note: If you don't see the Wireless Login Page, please try to go to any website (such as www.normandale.edu or www.apple.com)
    
5. Enter your StarID and password and agree to the Terms of Service to login.
   FORGOT your StarID or password? Go to https://starid.minnstate.edu
    
6. Click Connect. You are now connected to the Internet!

Notes

• Password Expiration: You will need to log in to Ndale-WiFi every 30 days and your StarID password expires every 180 days.
   
• Eduroam: Any student or employee of any Eduroam participating institution (including any Minnesota State member), can also connect via Eduroam.
   
• Guests: Any guest can connect to Normandale's WiFi using Ndale-Guest.

Troubleshooting

I can't get to the Wireless Login Page

1. Please browser to any website, such as www.normandale.edu, which should launch the Wireless Login Page
2. Please go to 1.1.1.1 to see if the Wireless Login Page will load
3. Please contact the ITS Service Desk if neither one of these troubleshooting tips works.
