When will I receive a refund if I totally withdraw from my courses?

Refunds for Withdrawals

Refund eligibility depends on when and how you withdraw from classes.

Key Information:

• Students who totally withdraw during weeks 2–4 of the semester may receive a partial refund.

• No refunds are issued for partial withdrawals (withdrawing from some but not all classes), unless you successfully appeal for a course drop.

• Refund schedules are published in the Registration Guide each semester.

How Refunds Are Issued:

• Paid by debit/credit card (online): Refund is credited back to your card.

• Paid in person at Normandale or online from checking/savings account: Refund is sent by check.

  • Be sure your mailing address is up to date to avoid delays.
