When can I register for classes?

It depends on your status at Normandale (Current student, New student, Returning student, or Visiting student) 

  • Current Students: 

  • Registration will open late October for Spring and Summer courses, late March for Fall courses.  

For academic planning, contact your advisor and set up an appointment by going to the Advising, Counseling and Career Center website (click here), email: advising@normandale.edu, or call 952-358-8261.

  • New students: 

    • You’ll register for classes during New Student Orientation. 

    • Steps include: 

  1. Complete the online orientation modules in Desire to Learn (D2L). 

  1. Attend an on-campus registration session or schedule a virtual one-on-one appointment with an academic advisor. 

  1. Select your classes and get help building a schedule that works for you. 

 

  • Returning students after not registering for 2 or more years or Visiting student (those taking only a few classes): 

  • Please contact our Admissions team at 952-358-8201 for guidance on registration.
