Normandale offers courses in Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Somali and Spanish. The French, German, Japanese, and Spanish programs offer an Associate in Arts Degree with an emphasis in their respective area. More information can be found by going to the World Languages website.
Students with prior language experience who question which class they should attend should contact an instructor in that area for an evaluation of their proficiency. It is advisable to arrange this evaluation prior to the beginning of the semester in order to eliminate scheduling conflicts.
