How to place a bookstore order online

  1. Create an Account
    1. Go to www.bookstore.normandale.edu/home.
      1. Click My Account
      2. Click Register Here
      3. Click Create an Account to Order Textbooks & Merchandise
      4. Complete all required fields. Please include a valid email address. The email entered will be the username and the primary contact for the Textbook Depot to communicate information about the order.
      5. Click Submit Profile
    2. Already have an account?
      1. Click My Account
      2. Log in using your Normandale bookstore account 
         
  2. Class Schedule
    1. Log in to e-Services
      1. Click Courses & Registration
      2. Click Review My Plan
      3. View Schedule
    2. Go to www.bookstore.normandale.edu/home.
      1. Hover the mouse pointer over Textbook Depot
      2. Click Buy Textbooks for Class
      3. Search By Course
        1. Select Semester
        2. Select Department Code (ex BIOL)
        3. Select Course Number -- Section Number -- Instructor (ex 2251-01 FacultyName) (All = all sections of class)
        4. If you have multiple classes, Click + Add another course, then click View Your Material
      4. Search for a Book
        1. Type the ISBN number, title or author of the material
           
  3. Add Materials, Supplies, Technology & Clothing
    1. Course Materials -- Here you will select the dial for the preferred condition and/or rental option of materials and click Add to Cart.
      1.  Not placing an online order? Click the Print Book List button for a printable book list.
      2. To continue the online order, click Continue Checkout.
      3. To shop for supplies, technology or clothing click Campus Store in the Bookstore Webpage menu.
         
  4. Review Shopping Cart
    1. Review shopping cart and remove any unwanted or duplicate items
    2. Click continue to checkout
    3. Answer the prompted questions
    4. Click Payment Options.
       
  5. Student Charging & Shipping Method
    1. On the checkout page you are able to click to view what items in your cart are covered by Book Charging or Continue to Checkout.
    2. Select Billing Address & Shipping Address.
    3. Choose Shipping Method and make sure to view estimated cost
      1. Ground -- UPS ground shipping (1-3 business days)
      2. Two-Day -- UPS two-day air shipping (Only for out of state. UPS Ground delivery is faster than 2 day air within MN)
      3.  In-store Pickup (Curbside pick up only for Fall 2020 semester)
    4. Click Continue.
       
  6. Payment Method
    1. Choose Payment Option
      1.   Credit Card -- Visa, Master or Discover
        1. Enter Card Number
        2. Enter Name on Card
        3. Enter Expiration Date
        4. Enter Card CVV
      2. Book Charging & PSEO Students -- PSEO, Financial Aid, Veterans, Third Party and Payment Plan Funds
        1. Enter Tech ID or Star ID for required Account Number.
        2. Check disclaimer box.
        3. Select Yes to cover UPS Shipping Costs with a credit or debit card. The Book Charging & PSEO Only payment method does not cover shipping costs and will need an alternate payment applied.
    2. In Order Comments add any order comments or requests.
    3. Click SUBMIT PAYMENT
  7.  Email Notifications
    1. ​​​​​​​  Email confirmations containing an order number for the order will be provided. You will receive emails from weborders@normandale.edu updating you on the status and tracking information of the order.​​​​​​​
