Course Placement
All degree-seeking students are required to complete placements in English and math. Normandale uses a multiple measures placement evaluation to determine a student’s placement and does not conduct placement testing. Students should complete the survey linked in their acceptance email to finalize their placements.
Non-degree seeking students may complete placements to help with course registration, and can also submit a Pre-Requisite Verification form for individual courses.
PSEO students receive placement based on their high school transcript, which is required for PSEO admission. PSEO students are not eligible to complete the course placement survey.
