Your Star ID is a unique student identifier. The Star ID is the same across all MinnState colleges and universities. Your Star ID consists of 2 letters, 4 numbers, 2 letters.
For example AB1234CD.
You will use your Star ID and password to login to many systems including eServices, D2L and your Normandale student email account.
If you do not know what your Star ID is, you can go to the Star ID self-service site for assistance and select What is my Star ID. You will then be asked to enter one of the items for assistance with recalling your Star ID. You will also be prompted to reset your Star ID password as part of this process.
