Header and Navigation
The header remains functionally the same but has been updated for responsiveness across screen sizes.

Help Link Integration
The Help link is repeated in the header, footer, and in the profile menu which directs users to the Minnesota State Service Desk (TDX ticketing system), providing centralized support routing. Just-in-time user guide resources are available from Kaltura’s AI services (Genie) linked to through the User Guides link in the Footer.

Create Menu Enhancements
The Create menu includes the same tools (Upload, Express Capture, Video Quiz, Capture, YouTube, Channel, Playlist, Stitch Videos) but now provides more descriptive details about the choices and makes the categories easier to navigate.

Upload Experience
The upload interface now allows for individuals to bulk upload content and emphasizes drag-and-drop functionality continuing to support common video and audio formats.

My Media Enhancements
Expanded filters are now open by default, and a new 'My Folders' feature allows improved organization of media. Bulk actions for adding content to folders, editing collaborators, or transferring ownership of media are available for up to 16 items at a time.

Playlists and Channels
Layouts have been updated for playlists and channels, but functionality remains the same.  Sharing is easier, but private video permissions still require manual adjustment if content is distributed to unauthorized users.

Recycle Bin Updates
Additional clarification text has been added to explain how Kaltura’s Recycle Bin functions. Recycled media remains for 30 days before permanent deletion. Media older than five years and inactive for two years is automatically moved to the Recycle Bin in accordance with the Media Retention schedule.

Caption Editor Updates
The caption editor blocks are now limited to 64 characters to follow best practices for inclusive media. Additional caption editing tips are included with links to support the captioning key guidelines.

Reach Caption & Enrich Service Updates
Reach captions & enrich services can now be accessed in the more menu of the media entry’s page, Kaltura has plans to further integrate this functionality into their Edit workflow with a dedicated Accessibility tab in the future.
