"Overview" field from Contents (prior to May 2026)

Prior to D2L's "New Content Experience," D2L no longer has an "Overview" field.

• Note that if an "Overview" was copied or imported from another course, it will be moved to the first Unit in Content.
• You won't be able to change the name of the Overview Unit.

However, There are 3 things you can do with a copied-over Overview Unit:

1. Leave it as is
2. Edit the content inside the Unit
3. Delete it by removing the content. For instructions on deleting, watch this 30-second video.
