Accessibility in D2L - UPDATE

Message from Minnesota State, April 14, 2026

As previously communicated, D2L was unable to deliver Accessibility+ within the originally agreed timelines and has informed Minnesota State that it will not be able to deliver a functional version of Accessibility+ prior to the start of the upcoming fall term. To address this issue for existing Accessibility+ customers, D2L has been negotiating an agreement with YuJa to provide its Panorama product as a substitute for Accessibility+. 

While D2L and YuJa continue to finalize this agreement, Minnesota State system office staff are preparing to support the deployment of YuJa Panorama within D2L Brightspace.

Additional communication will be shared with this community once Minnesota State reaches a final resolution with D2L, but no later than May 8. We also plan to host additional informational sessions as details become available.
