The Associate of Fine Arts degree (AFA) is a pre-professional degree intended for students interested in transferring to a BFA program or those with a strong interest in the chosen major. Careful planning in consultation with faculty and an advisor or counselor concerning course sequence, program admission and transfer institution requirements is essential.
