In cooperation with the Music Department, the Center for Teaching and Learning is excited to offer another space for multi-media creation for Normandale employees.

Location: F1295

The CTL Recording Suite is a space where faculty and staff can come to create and build various educational and training material on their own, or with guidance from one of our instructional designer-technologists (whose office happens to be 5 steps away!)

Located inside the Music Lab (F1295), the suite (F1295e) was built originally as a space for recording and mixing audio projects.

The “mixing room” has been outfitted with additional equipment that includes:

• A windows-based desktop computer
• Two 24inch computer monitors
• Two Mackie audio monitors (professional grade)
• Scarlett audio interface
• Blue “Yeti” USB microphone
• Webcam
• IPEVO document camera
• Wacom One “touch” tablet (for extended annotation or drawing)
• Acoustically treated room
• 4x8 whiteboard and additional webcam for lecture capture
• Camtasia recording software (industry standard), and access to Normandale's software center
