Power BI is part of Office 365. There are a variety of levels of Power BI user access.
- The Power BI Free license is assigned to all Office 365 tenant users, including students.
- The Power BI Pro license is assigned to all Normandale staff and faculty.

The following PBI-PowerConsumer access can be obtained by request:
- Export Data
- Export to Excel
- Use Analyze in Excel with on premises datasets
- Share in Teams
To request this Power BI Consumer access, please click on the red Power BI Request button to the right. This access will require supervisor approval. Please ensure that all data governance practices are followed and that data is handled in a secure, safe manner.

PowerBI Desktop
The PowerBI Desktop application is available for all faculty and staff to install on the Normandale computer through the Software Center.
